QuizDeck is a local-first study app for flashcards and quizzes. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Decks, cards, study progress, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone using Core Data.
The app uses the camera and photo library only to recognize text and create flashcards. When you choose on-device generation, images are processed on your iPhone.
If you enable cloud generation and save an OpenRouter API key, the text you submit for card creation is sent to OpenRouter. The API key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. QuizDeck does not operate the OpenRouter service.
GGUF models download from Hugging Face only after you explicitly confirm the download and license. Models are stored on your device.
Study reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification server is used.
QuizDeck does not use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising trackers.
We do not sell your personal data.
